This center is part of the nationally recognized center of expertise.

For each clinical picture, it assesses which other specialists are involved in an appointment. If, for example, there is a heart problem, the cardiologist will also look at it. In addition, there is good contact with the pediatricians, so that the transition after the age of 18 runs smoothly.

You will also regularly receive a ‘multidisciplinary check-up’ (check-ups from different disciplines) by the expert team. This enables us to keep a close eye on the process of your illness.

Because we bring together all the knowledge and expertise about these lung diseases in adults, we can further specialize in this area. We are aware of the latest developments in the field and are able to recognize complaints and characteristics earlier. Within the expertise center we also work on scientific research and develop care pathways. This enables us to provide our patients with even better care.

This is the first center in the Netherlands for adults with congenital or perinatal pulmonary disease.
